Eric Odera is a board member of the Book Bank foundation. Other than his training business, he realizes the importance of lifting other souls and spirits.The Book Bank's main goals are fighting iliteracy, homelessness, and poverty in rural and urban communities across the country. Being a firm believer in the old adage "Only through giving do we receive", he has been instrumental in many of the Book Bank's projects.
On October 27th, 2004, Book Bank hosted its annual fund raising dinner
in NYC. This was a huge success, and was a prelude to its annual
clothing clothing drive, held on December 23rd, 2004.

Eric, the Book bank foundation, Josh Evans (Defensive tackle, NY Jets
#91 ), rapper 50 Cent plus his G-Unit label mates, held a very
successful clothing drive at the New York Bowery mission. G-Unit, the
New York Jets, Omavi and others donated clothes worth over one hundred
thousand dollars to the needy during Christmas. Over 300 people had a
one stop shopping mall at the Bowery mission. This was a living
testimony of great minds and hearts getting together, and next year's
event is also slated for greater success
2005 promises to be another great year for Eric Odera. He plans to
start a fitness program for women who are incarcerated, as well as
